Seymo Quickpro Epoxy Finish
Quick pro finish is a two part epoxy which gives your fishing rod whipping a professional finish. The kit includes full instruction plus a brush to apply the Epoxy
A bottle of sealer is also in the kit and this helps to maintain the original colour of the whipping thread and enhancing the look of your rod.
To use mix equal quantities of the epoxy and hardener. The dropper bottles make it easy to count the drops of each to ensure an even mix. Use the supplied brush to apply a smooth even coating to the whipping. The finish can run when first applied so it is important to keep turning the rod regularly to prevent an excess building up on one side of the rod. An electric rod dryer gives the best finish but you can still achieve a high quality finish by regular ¼ turns of the blank until the finish has started to set.
If you want a deep shiny finish then apply a second coat of high build which will give that glassy smooth professional look.
