Hardy Shadow Fly Rod
Hardy Shadow Fly Rod
The Hardy Shadow rod has been designed by a team of guys that not only know how carbon works but also how fish react to being hooked and what is needed in a rod to deal with such times. The weave is built around Sintrix 220 carbon that not only gives lightweight tubular strength and power but lets the rod absorb runs and lunges of quality game without the leader getting smashed....as much. The blank itself is quite easy to load up but still retains it's ability to punch out a fast quick line with speedy recovery. In general it is regarded as a medium to fast actioned rod.
Of course, being of the Hardy stable you can expect nothing else but top quality fittings, from the grade AAA cork handles through to the solid aluminium cut reel seat. All rods have been fitted with a hook ring so that flies can be kept in a neat secure holding when the angler is on the move. This design of Hardy Shadow rods come in a variable range of lengths and line weights and each is supplied with a customised rod tube.
