The crimp has always been the weak link in rig making. Crimp too hard and you risk damaging the line, too soft and your snoods will move with ease resulting in unnecessary tangles. With the adjustable crimping kit you get crimps that stay in place without damaging your line and can be adjusted to suit your trace design due to the rubber insert. The crimping tool itself is designed to crimp length ways and not across like most crimping tools, giving an even hold the length of the crimp.
