Since the inception of LRF in the UK and Ireland Ecogear have been floating about at the forefront of the scene, in fact we’re willing to guarantee most of us start off using ecogear heads in our day to day LRF fishing, the Shirasu fine head, with its ingenious 45 degree stand up angle fishes well on both the retrieve and being bounced on the bottom.  Some of our earliest LRF memories involved fishing 2 inch shads on these heads.  They’ve been around and proven themselves for years, if it’s not broken, don’t try and fix it!
