When it comes to distance, the more speed you can get into your lead at the point of release, the more potential distance you can achieve. So it makes sense to use the best surf line you can find and the Speedmaster Surf Main Line certainly lives up to its name. The low stretch enables more rod speed to be transferred to the lead, and the high strength characteristics mean you can reduce the diameter you usually use by at least 0.02mm, or even more if you are using a stronger shock leader.
