The compact Talica II (2 speed) lightweight lever drag reels are designed for stand-up styles while using braid. An additional dragcam is provided to create the best drag curve for monoline usage. The Talica has a huge drag force and delivers powerful cranking to overcome the largest fish.
The Talica has been designed for stand-up fishing styles targeting big ocean monsters. Although designed for braided lines, an additional drag cam is supplied to create the best drag for fishing with mono lines too.
A 30% lighter rotation force is achieved with InfinityDrive double drag construction, while the width of the reel remains the same.
By incorporating X-Protect technology the best protection of the reel is guaranteed for any intrusion of salt water that can damage the inside of the reel.
The S-COMPACT body equals less weight, smaller dimensions, and easier handling than equivalent drag multipliers. Talica is truly a high-speed dream machine that fits perfectly in the hand.
In low gear you have unlimitless cranking power and torque to reel in big fish during the fight, while in high gear you can reel in your bait quickly.
The carbon cloth washers deliver remarkable power and durability and can be adjusted instantly using the easy to access lever, whilst the 7 shielded A-RB bearings, brass gear and an aluminium spool, make sure everything runs as smoothly as you would expect from a top quality Shimano reel.

• “IIA” stands for the latest version of the two-speed model.

• The major specs (gear ratio, line capacity, drag, weight) are the same between the original 20II and the 20IIA, but the 20IIA benefits from improved materials, gearing, and durability.
