Shimano Tyrnos 2 Speed Multiplier Reel
The Shimano Tyrnos 2 is a highly powerful 2 speed reel, currently highly popular in the British shark angling scene these reels can be loaded with vast quantities of high breaking strain line. The reel, though vastly powerful, is equally at home with mixed to rough ground fishing along with wrecking, making easy work of congers, huss and ling. Truth be told it really comes into its own when used for monsters, being perfectly suited to deep water skate and larger shark species. For the travelling angler it's hard to look past this reel, though not designed as such it maintains some castability so whether you're fishing giant stingers, groupers, or tiger sharks this reel will be a trusted travel companion.
