A great match yesterday on Benone strand
A great match yesterday on Benone strand. Most people had some luck and I even got in on the prizes though missed getting my mugshot taken! Our recorder Barry Platt gives the full rundown. Next match is on Waterfoot in 3 weeks time.
Harry McKee, Secretary.
Daiwa shore league match day 6.
Venue: Benone
Tide and conditions: Fishing a full drop with a medium surf. Weather was mild and blustery.
Species caught: Flounder, turbot, bass, dogfish, spurdogs and whiting.
Benone is a marmite venue but for some reason we always get a good turnout at it.
Yesterday was a strange day with a few little spurdogs caught amongst the usual subjects which were actually there for a change.
