Venue: Ballycastle
Tide/sea state: Fishing one hour up and four down. Pounding surf containing a bit of weed which caused problems at times.
Weather: Blustery westerly and mostly dry.
Species caught: flounder, coalie, whiting and bass.
Conditions on arrival looked perfect with a lovely surf rolling in and while there was fish caught, including some nice ones it wasn't frantic with zone A particularly bad with eight blanks.
Everybody in zone B caught however including a nice bass for Stephen Hodge.
Cash was paid for 1st to 3rd in each zone with tackle for 4th and 5th.
