Weather/sea state: Mostly dry with a blustery southerly which blew the sea flat.
The North coasts premier surf angling venue was a bit of a let down yesterday due to the lack of surf.
Very calm conditions meant that the different plans of action had to be hatched and some anglers managed better than others with mostly dogs caught along with turbot, flounder and dab.
