What looked to be very promising conditions with a quiet beach and a good surf were short lived when it became obvious the beach was heavily weeded for most of zone A, however it was the same for most of us so we cracked on.
The venue was not as productive as normal maybe due to drop in temperature during the week and definitely down to the weed which prevented a lot of anglers from scratching the surf as is normal practice on this venue.
However it was good to get out after a six month break.
Big thanks to Diarmaid and Andrew Mcmurtry who done the litter walk before the match and collected two bags of mess.
Nothing was lifted afterward.
Also thanks to our main sponsor, Daiwa for supplying match prizes as well as end of league main prizes.
Next match is 29th of this month on Ballycastle.
