Match day one.
Venue: Waterfoot (South end)
Tide/sea state: 3 up, 2 down. Moderate surf which eased along with wind. Bit of heavy weed on some pegs over the last hour and a half.
Species caught: flounder, five bearded rocking, codling, whiting and coalfish.
First match of the year and we were expecting to peg for forty anglers but we had a few fallers thanks to covid etc.
Nevertheless we had a decent turnout and some pegs fished particular well with some nice fat healthy flounders showing.
