Waterfoot beach in the Glens of County Antrim was the venue for the NIFSA shore league match 2. Fishing an incoming flat quiet tide with crystal clear water and a sharp chill in the air didn’t stop the fish coming on with most anglers catching small flounders from the off. Fishing started at 5.00pm and finished at 10.00pm. It got bloody cold!
It was quite tight in the end with results showing that a couple of extra fish could have won it.
Great to see the increased attendances and anglers starting out sharing double pegs with more experienced anglers until they find their feet.
Thanks to the lads that organise peg and count the scores along with Mocca Mike supplying the ‘essential’ hot coffee.
