Tronix Virtuoso Air Fixed Spool Reel
Made from high strength, lightweight graphite for the lightest Virtuoso in the range which comes in a 8000 size. An upgrade from the original Virtuoso is the screw in CNC machined handle. Most reels on the market feature a bar that runs through the reel, while this is strong, it does create some movement when winding. Screw-in handles create a tighter, stronger connection between the handle and the reel, eliminating any side-to-side movement when winding in. The reel body has screw threads on either side so the handle can be used for both left and right-handed anglers. Not only is the body lighter than the other two versions, but the spool is too. Instead of it being a solid spool, it is built in a cage, honeycomb-like structure that dramatically reduces the weight of the spool without compromising on strength. As with all Virtuoso Reels, other spools in the range are compatible with the 8000 version. An ideal reel for fishing on clean beaches and amongst mixed ground, especially for anglers who want as light a reel as possible while also have the flexibility to use a variety of different spools.
